Hello!!! I am so glad that you’re visiting our site….. My name is Kim Hanson. I have been teaching in NC for 18 years, most of those being in 5th grade. I am so excited to be working in the 5th grade again, this year. We have a wonderful team of teachers!!!!
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University at CWPost campus in 1992. From there, I came to NC to begin my teaching career. I went on to receive my Master’s degree in reading education from UNC, Wilmington in 1999. The following year, I completed my National Boards for Professional Teaching Standards.
I am proud to have a wonderful 10 year old daughter named Kaleigh, who attends Bogue Sound school also
